The Yurt - Trailside Warming Hut

Yurts are modern adaptations of the ancient shelter used by nomadic tribesman for centuries.  Its ingenious, aerodynamic, weathertight design design makes is adaptable to snowy environments, yet allows it to blend well with surrounding landscapes. 

Located on Bob's Lookout Trail on the North End of our trail system, the yurt affords our ticketed guests the opportunity to warm (and on weekends) fuel up.  Now you can ski from our Nordic Center in Town Square across either Swan's/Mad River, the Connector or over Snow's Mountain to a destination with world class panoramic views of Mount Osceola, the Tripyramids and the surrounding splendor of the White Mountain National Forest.. Take a picnic and beverage with you warm your self by the stove on weekends before and after your North End ski adventure. 

During Christmas and February Presidents Day Week Holiday periods we will serve guests a variety of hot drinks, soups and snacks or light luncheon fare.  .
